Cambodia Gambling Halls

There is a captivating story to the Cambodia casinos that reside just over the dividing line from neighboring Thailand, where gambling hall gambling is illegal. Eight gambling halls are established in a generally tiny location in the metropolis of Poipet in Cambodia. This collection of Cambodia gambling dens is in an excellent location, a three to 4 hour drive from Bangkok and Macao, the two largest wagering locations in Asia. The first Cambodia casinos opened in Phnom Penh in 1994, but were forced to close in 1998, leaving just a single gambling hall in the capital, the Naga Resort. The Naga casino never closes with 42 tables of mini-baccarat banque, four tables of 21, ten of roulette, two of Caribbean Stud Poker, and one each of Pai-Gow and Tai-Sai.

The original casino in Poipet, the Holiday Palace, opened in the late nineties and the Golden Crown before long followed. The latest Holiday Palace Casino and Resort contains three hundred one armed bandits and seventy gaming tables and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has one hundred and sixty six one armed bandits and 96 gaming tables, including 87 baccarat (the most popular game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. An additional of the eight gambling halls in Poipet, also in a motel, is the Princess Casino with 166 one armed bandits and ninety seven table games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in a multinational resort and hotel building that features numerous conveniences accompanying the gambling den, which has 10,000 square feet of 130 one armed bandits and eighty eight table games.
